hello heidi
i found your blog and wanted to ask you a question. i also have been diagnosed with cancer in my left tonsil. i am trying to make a decision on the sequence of treatment.
my radiologist said the proper procedure is chemo and radiation and then prossible surgery.
my surgeon said surgery first and due to the scans and the view with a scope down my throat it has not spread to the noads. he said there is a good chance that “if” he can get clean margins i might not or would not need chemo/radiation. how did you arrive at the decision the surgery 1st and the others after
would love your input and how bad was the neck surgery to recover from
the surgeon is talking about using a muscle from my chest to replace and damage to my existing muscle
thank you for any input
